Summer 2 Information
Welcome to Summer Term 2, 2022
This term the main topic that the children will be focusing on is 'How can we save the World? This topic will largely be based on geographical skills. The children will learn about global issues such as deforestation and plastic pollution as well as renewable and non-renewable sources of energy. They will gain an in depth understanding of the biomes of the world with a focus on rainforests.
In science we are working on the topics 'sound' and 'electricity'.
Our RE is an Understanding Christianity unit, answering the question 'When Jesus left, what was the impact of Pentecost?' in summer 1 and then moving onto a thematic unit answering the question 'How and why do people in Cornwall mark significant events in community life?' in Summer 2.
Below, you will find a range of information relating to what the children will be learning about this term and resources, to support the children’s learning. Of course, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via Dojo.
